National Service Cancels June Registration, Launches Fresh Online Exercise from October 8

The National Service Authority (NSA) has announced that online registration for the 2025/2026 service year will officially reopen on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, and end on Wednesday, October 15, 2025.
The new directive comes after
ordered a Technical and Forensic Audit into the old Central Service Management Platform (CSMP), which was found to be unsatisfactory and vulnerable to data integrity issues.
Following the audit, the NSA was tasked to develop and deploy a more secure and transparent digital registration system to ensure real-time verification, accountability, and system reliability.
In a statement, the Authority declared that all previous registrations conducted in June 2025 are null and void, citing discrepancies in age and other personal data. All prospective national service personnel are therefore required to re-register on the new platform.
“All previous registrations from June 2025 have been declared null and void. Every prospective service personnel must re-register on the new platform,” the statement emphasized.
The NSA assured that all legitimate applicants who registered in June will receive refunds of their service fees.
To support the new process, the Authority announced that detailed registration guidelines will be available on its new website — www.gnsa.gov.gh — beginning Tuesday, October 7, 2025.
Additionally, the NSA said it is introducing stringent IT reforms and internal controls to combat payroll fraud and improve allowance payments. The Authority is working in partnership with the Controller and Accountant General’s Department (CAGD) to strengthen financial oversight and will conduct periodic efficiency audits.
According to the release, all national service personnel are expected to report to their respective service stations on Saturday, November 1, 2025, with the official commencement of service on Monday, November 3, 2025.
This latest move forms part of the government’s broader effort to digitize and sanitize public sector recruitment and deployment systems across the country.
